Hi, I’m Robert Louis. I don’t read music. I’ve never had a piano lesson. And I don’t really “write” the songs you hear on this site.
Almost every piece of music I’ve recorded came through me — spontaneously — as I sat at my piano late at night. I’ll play a few chords, feel something shift, and then… I just know. Something’s coming. I press record, and I play.
From start to finish, the full piece arrives in real time. No roadmap. No second takes. While I play, I’m as surprised as anyone where it’s going — but it’s as if it was always there, waiting for me to play it to life.
I don’t edit. I don’t replay. I couldn’t if I wanted to. But I don’t need to. The message has already come through.
I used to spend weeks composing and memorizing one song. Now, these pieces come through me as if they’ve already been written — as if I’m simply letting them arrive.
I don’t take credit for them. I can’t. I don’t see myself as a composer, but as a receiver — someone who channels the energy of a feeling and translates it into sound.
My music is imperfect. It’s relatively simple. There are pauses, mistakes, human fingerprints on every track. But I believe that’s what makes it unique — and what gives it power.
The Law of Attraction teaches that what we think and feel, we attract. When I sit down to play, I’m channeling emotion — and sending it out like a frequency. If you feel something when you listen, I believe that’s by design.
This music may not be for everyone. But if it found its way to you, maybe you should trust that it’s for a reason.

A few years ago, my daughter gave me a book that would change everything for me— The Secret → I had never heard of the Law of Attraction, but the message struck a deep chord in me. I read the book once... then again... and again.
Over time, it reshaped how I think about everything—my thoughts, my purpose, even my creativity. I came to believe in the principle that thoughts become things. That the thoughts and beliefs that you dwell on—especially when infused with the emotions of love, gratitude and joy—become your reality.
That’s when the music began arriving on its own. I no longer “wrote” songs. They just came. I’d feel a gentle, magical impulse, and I’d sit at my piano and begin to play—no plan, no map, no idea where the melody was headed. I’d finish a piece and have no memory of how I got there.
The Gift from My Daughter
My name is Robert Louis. I'm a self-taught amateur composer living near Los Angeles, California. I’ve had no formal music training—can’t read sheet music, and never took a piano lesson. But I’ve always had a love for music.
When I was younger, I’d go to the movies and get completely swept up in the soundtracks. While others were absorbed in the story, I found myself tuned in to the music. I’d rush home after a film and spend hours at my piano, trying to re-create the score that had moved me. I wasn't good at it. But I loved it.
For years, I composed by trial and error—slowly crafting pieces, note by note, trying to match what I felt inside. Then something changed.
My Full Story – How the Music Found Me
I made the decision early on to keep all my recordings raw and unedited. No studio polish, no replays, no perfection—just the honest first take as it came through.
These songs have “bad” notes, pauses and flaws, but to me, those imperfections are part of their magic.
My only edits? Adjusting volume to meet music industry technical standards and fading a few songs out at the end. Otherwise, each song is exactly as it arrived in the moment.

Unedited and Honest
I later learned this phenomenon has a name- channeling. Some describe it as entering a trance-like state to receive messages or inspiration from beyond normal awareness. It may sound far-fetched—but that’s exactly how it feels.
I believe the Universe chooses messengers at unexpected times in their lives. Somehow, it chose me. I don’t pretend to know why. But I’ve accepted this gift with humility and joy, and I feel a sort of obligation to share it with others.
