About The Secret & Channeling
The Secret That Opened the Door
A few years ago, my daughter gave me a book that would eventually reshape how I think about thought itself— The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
This book reveals a powerful universal principle known as the Law of Attraction—the concept that our thoughts and emotions shape the reality we experience. What we focus on, we tend to draw into our lives.
Gratitude, clarity, and belief are key to aligning ourselves with what we hope to achieve—whether those goals involve love, healing, abundance, purpose, or joy. The Secret is filled with stories from people who’ve applied this principle and experienced profound results—real-life examples of success, transformation, and unexpected breakthroughs.
This isn't just theory—it’s a guide to shifting your mindset and tuning into a frequency that attracts what you desire. By practicing intentional thought, feeling gratitude, and letting go of doubt, you begin to align with the life you want to create for yourself.
From subtle improvements to life-changing miracles, the book provides insights and tools to help you start the process.
Personally, I revisit The Secret almost every day—just a few pages at a time. It's become a kind of compass for me, helping to reset my energy and re-frame my focus.
Over time, I discovered that the more I practiced its teachings, the more open I became... until something remarkable began to happen—music started arriving through me. But that part of the story is written all over this website.
I have no affiliation with this book or its creators.
Channeling, in metaphysical or spiritual contexts, is the act of receiving messages, energy, or information from beyond our ordinary perception.
Some say it comes from higher consciousness, spiritual guides, the Universe, or even a “collective field” of creativity.
But whatever the name, the experience is unmistakable when it happens. The person receiving the message becomes a conduit—like a transmission tower or an antenna catching a frequency.
In my case, it feels like music arrives from a place I don’t understand, but somehow trust. I researched the subject and discovered that I’m not alone in this experience. Many well-known artists have described similar sensations:
Bob Dylan has described songwriting as something that “just comes,” and in interviews, he's suggested he doesn’t fully understand where his songs come from, and that he’s simply a conduit.
John Lennon claimed that many Beatles songs came to him in dreams or flashes of inspiration.
What Is Channeling?
Prince described entire compositions waking him from sleep, and felt like he was merely the vessel to bring them into the world.
Rosanne Cash speaks about receiving “postcards from the future”, and once remarked, “Sometimes I feel like the songs are already out there… I only get to write the ones my skills are developed enough to channel.”
Her words especially resonate with me. I’ve often felt that my songs already exist somewhere beyond ordinary awareness — suspended in some unknown corner of the Universe, simply waiting to be found.
But unlike Rosanne, I don’t experience the process as a matter of skill. For me, it arrives on its own terms: always a pleasant and magical wave of energy during which I’m vaguely aware of what I’m playing as my fingers are guided on the keyboard.
My hands are moving, but I’m not driving. I’m receiving, responding, participating in something larger than myself.
In truth, I don’t fully understand it — and maybe that’s the point.
The Law of Attraction teaches that what we focus on, emotionally and mentally, combined with belief and trust, becomes the blueprint for our future.
This music was created by following that same principle:
Aligning with a positive energy
Allowing ideas to flow without resistance
Trusting the outcome without control
The result is a body of work that mirrors what it feels like to let go and receive.
How is this connected to the Law of Attraction?
You don’t have to see the whole path—just take the next inspired step.
